Let’s find out. The Flash is a CW show that was created by the guys that are also producing another DC Comics series, Arrow. It’s based off of the famous comic book series by DC Comics and documents the rise of the superhero the flash, who has extraordinary speed when running. Barry Allen takes the lead to play the role of the flash, who discovered his powers after waking up 9 months later after being struck by lightning. Naturally with these powers, he’s made himself a target and it’s up to him to take on evil wherever he may find it. The first season was regarded to many as the TV series that the hero desperately needed and with a great cast, it had and continues to surpass many expectations. My only complaint is because of the type of power he has, the CGI can sometimes be a little lacking, but hey, it’s a TV network show not a multi-million blockbuster movie. It has plenty of crossover with Arrow so it’s worth watching both to get all the references hidden throughout plus the payoff is huge. As part of the annual dump of CW on Netflix we’ve seen Arrow and The Flash usually drop onto Netflix side by side in October. So that means we can expect season 2 of The Flash which is due to finish in mid- April to arrive on Netflix in October 2016. There are currently 13 confirmed episodes with names but a complete number is yet to be known. If it’s like the first season then we could see as many as 23 full episodes which will come to the delight of many fans. Usually we’d end it there with our prediction, but we do have evidence of a potential upset that may cause The Flash from being delayed or withheld from being added to Netflix next year.
